Demolition of existing facility and construction of a new welcome center, triple in size with double the parking capacity. The new facility will handle hundreds of thousands of tourists annually. The small, but complex welcome center/rest area includes:
- Large restroom facilities
- ADA-accessible Family Assisted restroom
- Rotunda/exhibition area
- Picnic areas
- Office spaces
- Expanded Parking
- Pet walking area
Site improvements include utilities, hardscape and landscaping, picnic pavilions and a maintenance shed.
