Lancaster Regional Medical Center - George C. Delp Pavilion

Project Type
New Construction
Project Description

Construction of an addition to an occupied hospital facility. The new building has a cast-in-place concrete frame on a caisson foundation.

Special features include:

  • 11 surgical suites
  • Recovery area
  • Outpatient medical procedure unit
  • Parking garage
  • Brick exterior facade with block backup
  • Aluminum windows with Low E glazing
  • Single-ply insulation on roof
  • Hepa air filters
  • Medintech® welded floors for the  operating room suites.

A complex design and limited access to the work site created unique challenges. It was a complicated procedure, but the entire operation was completed two months early and under the original budget.
