Project Description

Construction management services to renovate the Emergency Department within the main hospital included:

  • 29 private beds
  • Critical rooms
  • Isolation rooms
  • Observation rooms
  • Nurse stations
  • Exam rooms
  • Prompt Care Treatment sub-department
  • Support spaces

Work was carefully planned and constructed to allow hospital operations to continue in areas surrounding the worksite.  Due to the location of the hospital in downtown Wilmington, deliveriesand work hours were carefully coordinated to avoid disruption to patients and staff.
