Project Description

Preservation and restoration of historic Mansion included the following:

  • Mechanical, electrical and plumbing system upgrades
  • Fire detection and suppression systems
  • Roof restoration
  • Foundation waterproofing
  • ADAcompliant ramping

Restoration of the historic Garden included the following:

  • Cataloging, removing, restoring and reinstalling of all materials, stone work, statues and fountains
  • Reinstallation of lily pond
  • Pools were drained, excavated, replaced, and relandscaped
  • 800,000 gallon, quarter-acre reflecting pool was drained, cleaned and repaired
  • Colonnade was cleaned and underwent major masonry repair work
  • Statue of Achievement was stripped of paint, bronzed and covered in 23-karat gold leaf
