Belmont Mansion, also known as the David M. Mayer House, is located on Fruitville Pike in Manheim Township, near the border with the city of Lancaster. The home was built in 1867 and expanded with additions in 1870 and 1875. One of the largest surviving examples of symmetrical Victorian Italianate architecture, the home resides on the National Register of Historic Places. Vacant since 2015, it was deteriorating badly. Wohlsen President and CEO J. Gary Langmuir and his family partnership bought the home in 2018 with the intent of refurbishing it to its former glory. Wohlsen provided preconstruction and construction management services and performed 35% of the construction services on the $1.1 million project.
