Preconstruction and construction management services for a new four-story student housing and mixed-use project located on an occupied campus.
Covering an entire city block, construction activities and laydown area had to be closely monitored and coordinated to ensure the adjacent roadway which serves as the main entrance to the campus remained open during construction.
The upper three floors encompass:
- 165 beds in 51 units ranging in size from single beds up to four-bedroom apartment style units
- Centralized kitchen and laundry
- Group study rooms
- College bookstore
- Diner
- Significant care was taken to create acoustical separation between the commercial space and apartments.
