The Hill School – Alumni Chapel Roof Truss Repair

Structural repairs to a historic chapel located on an occupied academic campus. As the extent of deterioration of the bearings and configuration of the connections varied from truss to truss collaboration with the design team and structural engineer was imperative to address the differing field conditions from the design conditions and devise solutions to maintain schedule and budget. The scope of the project also included partial removal of the organ pipes, protection of the console to disassemble, protect, and reassemble the organ.
