Wohlsen Construction was recognized by Connecticut Associated Builders and Contractors at their Annual Excellence in Construction Awards last night.

A First Place Award of Excellence was presented to Wohlsen’s Connecticut team for their work at Sunrise of Wilton. This project involved demolition, extensive site work, and the construction of a new three-story 75,781 sq. ft. assisted living community. With flexibility and communication, Wohlsen and the entire project team successfully adapted to challenges and met the client’s high expectations for the final product. In recognition of their individual commitment to this project, Wohlsen senior project manager, Malcolm McPherson and project engineer, Hairo Trinidad were presented with Outstanding Field Personnel Awards.

This accomplishment is a result of the resounding performance from the projects’ architect, engineers, and subcontractors who delivered a beautifully designed, well-constructed community that provides a much-need benefit to the larger community. We are honored to have been part of this team.
