Wohlsen Construction received three awards from the New Jersey Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) at their Annual Excellence in Construction Awards Gala.

An award of excellence was presented for Allegro at Harrington Park, a new 220,758 sq. ft. independent and assisted living community. After successfully overcoming challenges related to site conditions, project schedule, and the pandemic Wohlsen leveraged the power of collaboration and teamwork to deliver a beautiful community that the client was proud of.

Salem Ambulatory Surgery Center also received an award of excellence. This was a fast-paced, ten-week project that consisted of a fit-out of an existing shell space that had been empty for several years. Wohlsen converted the space into an 8,200 sq. ft., high-quality ambulatory care center. From the start of construction, the team worked two shifts, six days a week to meet the schedule.

Additionally, an award of merit was presented for Sunrise of Franklin Lakes, a new 107,200 sq. ft. senior living community with a variety of amenities. The community was designed to help Sunrise Senior Living promote independence, dignity, and individuality to its residents.

These accomplishments are a result of the resounding performance of the projects’ architects, engineers, and subcontractors. We are honored to have been part of these successful teams.
