On December 15, 2021, Wohlsen Construction joined Bayhealth to celebrate the groundbreaking of Bayhealth Total Care – a hybrid emergency and walk-in center, with imaging and lab services, as well as primary and specialty care offices located in Milton, Delaware.

Wohlsen Construction is providing design-build services for the 48,500 sq. ft., two-story facility, while E4H Environments for Health Architecture developed the architectural plans for the 18-acre site. This facility, when complete, will provide local access to life-saving care in Sussex County. Future growth space was also considered as part of the design-build process.

Wohlsen Construction is proud to be a part of this significant Bayhealth project. The Sussex County location of Bayhealth Total Care will support future community needs with urgent care and day-to-day medical needs in a contemporary healthcare facility. Bayhealth Total Care is slated to open in a little more than a year in early 2023.
